September 3, 2015 is China's first statutory "Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War Victory Day", and it is also the first day to decide to take a holiday. Our company has a three-day holiday. Apart from joy, we carefully planned the schedule for these days. Watching the military parade is a must-have program. In the rest of the time, we will meet together to Zhuhai and visit the New Yuanming Palace together.

I knew that the Old Summer Palace in Beijing was only ruined, but I didn't know that the New Yuanming Garden in Zhuhai was so lush. The New Yuanming Garden reflects the forest with water, embraces the mountains with forests, and surrounds the garden with mountains. It has the beauty of ancient style and simplicity without losing its majestic beauty. Walking on the forest path, looking at the strange garden and strange forest, listening to the chirping of the birds, the clumps of green that come into view from time to time, and there are small pavilions hidden in the green. The small fishes in the lake sometimes appear and sometimes hide, as if playing hide-and-seek with tourists, adding a bit of childishness. Strolling on the promenade, admiring this ancient-style building, and occasionally sitting on the green lacquered bench, it is another taste.

The New Summer Palace was built at a ratio of 1:1 in Beijing’s Summer Palace. Although the scenery of the New Yuanming Garden is only part of the Old Summer Palace, it is enough to make us linger. The Old Summer Palace in Beijing was built by the emperors of the four dynasties, and was even described by French writer Hugo as a treasure of oriental art. And now the Old Summer Palace is only left with scars and broken arms, which has become ironclad evidence of the crimes committed by the Allied Forces of the Eight Nations. It records the humiliating history experienced by the motherland.
The beauty of the New Yuanming Palace further brings out the bleakness of the Old Summer Palace and makes us cherish the hard-won peace of today even more. We will be beaten if we fall behind, cherish peace, and make us stronger.
